Jorge Brown Cott is one of the top interior designers in the Caribbean. His unique interior style has been featured in publications such as Architectural Digest Mexico, Design Hunter magazine, and multiple covers featuring his design work in Hola Magazine Republica Dominicana, as well as the cover of the Santo Domingo Times Interiors Issue.
Brown graduated with a degree in advertising from the Universidad Iberomericana UNIBE, he also studied at the Altos De Chavon School of Design in both Visual Merchandising and Art Direction. Using his keenly trained eye, Brown translates his passion for art through his interior design spaces.
In 2019 Brown created Design Week RD, serving as Creative Director he and his team created a series of events in the Old Town of Santo Domingo including Design House which gave the opportunity to all top designers, architects, retailers and creatives to showcase themselves.
Mr Brown is very invested in the design community of the Caribbean and as such he hosts regular events to support and nurture the talent of the islands. The Design Week RD movement seeks to create better opportunities for the design industry in Dominican Republic and beyond by displaying, connecting and assisting artisans and local production.
